How to Structure Training Modules That Maximise Engagement and Transform Content into Capability

What Are Structure Growth Pathways?
Until now, we've covered a mix of topics each month in the Community, but they haven’t always connected. With Structured Growth Pathways, we’re taking a new approach - focusing on one key training element for the entire month.
A Typical Structired Gowth Pathway:
- A Podcast episode.
- A Live Virtual Development Moule.
- A step-by-step Implementation Process.
- Trainer Talk dedicated to the month’s topic.
- Ready To Go Activities (4) related to the monthly topic.
Why this new format
- Immerse Yourself in One Key Topic -Instead of jumping between unrelated topics, you’ll spend an entire month diving deep into a single aspect of training - giving you time to explore, practise, and really master it.
- A Connected Learning Experience - Each element of the Community is designed to build on the others, creating a structured journey rather than a collection of random topics. This ensures you have a more integrated and purposeful learning experience.
- See Your Own Growth - By focusing on one key training element each month, you’ll gradually build a strong foundation across multiple areas of training. Rather than scattered learning, this structured approach gives you a clear path for your long-term development over the course of the year.
Two Registration Methods
You can either register for all events with a single click (see below) or choose to register for individual elements of the pathway within the different sections of the Community, just as you do now.

How to Structure Training Modules That Maximise Engagement and Transform
This month we'll take a deep dive into Sturcuring Your Training Modules with:
Live Virtual Development Module
Monday 10 March
1500-1630 GMT (UK time)
Let’s face it—training can often feel like a one-way street, with learners zoning out or struggling to apply what they’ve learned. As trainers, it’s frustrating when content doesn’t stick or engage the way we’d like.
But, by preparing learners, keeping them engaged during content transfer, and supporting their practical application, you’ll create training that makes a real impact. The best bit? You’ll observe them doing what the objective said they’d be able to do
Expect to Discover (but not limited to) ...
- How to grab your learners' attention at the start of the content.
- How to keep your learners engaged during the transfer moment.
- How to encourage exploration and ownership of the content.
- How to observe learners applying their new knowledge.
Implementation Steps - Putting Your Learning into Practice
Available From Thursday 13 March
It's now time to turn knowledge into action.
This drip-feed email sequence breaks your content design into four bite-sized pieces. Each step from the 'Development Module' is explored in more depth, with additional activities to build on those shared during the live session.
By breaking the module into four easy steps, you'll be able to effortlessly apply what you’ve learned to your own training.
Trainer Talk - A Collaborative Space to Go Further!
Thursday 27 March
After attending the Development Module and completing your Implementation Steps, join us for Trainer Talk where we'll explore the challenges of applying your learning. This collaborative space is designed to provide a supportive environment where we can:
- Share experiences and exchange practical ideas.
- Find concrete solutions to challenges in implementing key concepts.
- Gain insights from others’ successes and lessons learned.
Bring your questions, gain fresh perspectives and enhance your training practices through discussions with your fellow members.
PLUS
Ready-To-Go, No Prep Activities
Starting Saturday 8 March
